NVBDC uses the Women's Entreprenural Booklet at event
The Guide for Women Veteran Entrepreneurs was written to assist a growing number of women veterans to start, manage and grow their business. Besides providing the basics it also lists a number of great resources to assist in your success.
It is unique in the fact that five women veteran entrepreneurs contributed their experiences and expertise throughout this publication which adds immensely to the content and the “realness” that it displays.
This version was customized for the National Veterans Business Development Council (www.nvbdc.org) for use at the recent 7th Annual WAVE ( Women As Veteran Entrepreneurs) Conference that was held at the Women's Memorial at Arlington Cemetery.
The NVBDC certifies Veteran Owned and Service Disabled Veteran Owned businesses for procurement with Corporate America and is creating some really great opportunities with companies like Ford, Apple , Freddie Mac, the Federal Reserve Bank and many more. To learn more about them and how to get certified go towww.nvbdc.org.
Basics For Veterans was based on our publication, Small Business Basics, that has been used by many banks across the country and was chosen by SCORE to be one of their key counseling tools a few years ago. It was sponsored by Bank of America and over 400,000 copies in English and 150,000 copies in Spanish were distributed by SCORE chapters across the country.
Both of these publications can be customized for sponsorship and be offered in small and large print runs and/or offered digitally. For more information send an email email@example.com.
