Veteran Non-Profit of the Month

Former Army officer and West Point grad Will Huff transitioned out of the military in 2015 and into the role as a deputy athletic director for a Maryland college and then business development for a professional lacrosse team. Today, he brings that wealth of experience to Soldiers to Sidelines.  We were fortunate to have Will join our inaugural National Non-Profit All Call and share their mission, which is to provide a path for current and former military members to become great coaches. They believe that our service members can have a meaningful and lasting impact on others through athletics, and they arm Soldier Coaches with coaching knowledge and techniques along with connections to the athletic community. During COVID-19, they have shifted entirely to present Virtual Certificaiton Seminars.  Whether you're active-duty, a veteran, or a military-spouse coaching little league baseball or interested in coaching professionaly, connect with Soldiers to Sidelines and take advantage of their world-class programs.

Bridging the Gap Between Veterans and Employers

Navy veteran Craig Washburn's turnkey platform connects veterans seeking jobs to employers looking to hire quality candidates, plus manages the U.S. Department of Labor’s Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) program. This program benefits employers up to $9600 per veteran-hire, dollar-for-dollar tax credits that go right back into their business!

Through VTC, veterans can get pre-certified at no-cost for the appropriate tax-credit, and use that letter as leverage during the hiring process.

Employers: Check Out VTC in 4business, and Use Code Re4ormed for a $29.95 Discount
We hope your and your business thrives in October, and we'll see you on one of the upcoming All Calls.

Very Best,
Mark Mhley
